It was with huge sadness that I learned of the death of David Longdon, just before this edition of the Doorway went to air on 103 The Eye last night.
David was a Nottinghamshire lad, an incredibly talented singer and songwriter and lead vocalist for Big Big Train. To say he will be missed is a tragic understatement.
My heart goes out to his family, friends and bandmates.
There will be an appropriate tribute in next week's Doorway.

In this week's show I take an in depth look at the Moody Blues album "Days of Future Passed". It's one of the albums that laid the foundations for the whole genre of progressive rock.
There's the usual mix of classic tracks and new releases, and the show ends with a stunning new release from Andy Tillison, Jonas Reingold and Roberto Tiranti (TRT) which you really don'd want to miss!
